This is just one production line in Ningbo, China. Yet it reflects a much broader transformation taking place across the country’s manufacturing sector. At Soundking Group, a self-developed immersive audio system demonstrates how technological innovation can create entirely new experiences. By overcoming the limitations of traditional sound systems, the technology enables sound to move dynamically throughout a space and follow audience movement. The system has already been widely adopted in sports and cultural venues, tourism attractions and major theaters, while continuing to expand into overseas markets, bringing Chinese audiovisual technology to a global audience.

The visit to Zhejiang offered more than a look at advanced manufacturing. The delegation also experienced Unitree’s intelligent robots, gaining first-hand insight into the rapid development of China’s artificial intelligence industry. A stroll through Ningbo’s Xiushui Street Historic and Cultural District revealed another side of the city, where centuries-old architecture and a vibrant commercial atmosphere coexist.

Throughout the journey, one message became increasingly clear: innovation is powering China’s manufacturing transformation, while cultural heritage continues to shape the identity and vitality of its cities.
